Custom Pet Figurines from Photos, Hand-Painted

How it is made

Six careful stages, from photo to keepsake

Every figurine is made to order in our studio. Nothing is mass-produced or templated.

Full process
  1. Illustrative reference image of a tricolor Pembroke Welsh Corgi sitting on a wooden floor

    Step 1: Photo review

An artist checks your photos for angles, markings and color, and asks for more if needed.

  2. Grey digital 3D sculpt of the corgi shown in sculpting software before printing

    Step 2: Digital sculpting

Your pet is sculpted by hand in 3D software, focusing on the features that make them recognizable.

  3. Grey digital 3D sculpt of the corgi shown in sculpting software before printing

    Step 3: Proof approval

You review a digital proof and request changes before anything is printed.

  4. Unpainted grey resin print of the corgi figurine after support removal

    Step 4: Resin printing

The approved sculpt is printed in high-resolution resin, capturing fine fur and facial detail.

  5. Studio technician sanding the surface of an unpainted resin figurine

    Step 5: Finishing

Supports are removed and the surface is sanded and primed by hand for an even finish.

  6. Artist hand-painting fine fur details on a small pet figurine with a thin brush

    Step 6: Hand painting

Artists paint markings, eyes and fur tones by hand, matching your reference photos.

Questions

Good to know before you order

All FAQs
How do I send my pet’s photo?

Upload your reference photos in the order builder before checkout. If you need to send more photos later, email [email protected] with your order number. See our Photo Guide for useful angles and examples.

What if the photo is blurry or low quality?

Upload what you have. Our artists review every set and will tell you before modeling begins if anything important is unclear. This is common for memorial orders and we handle it with care.

What is a digital proof?

A set of rendered views of your pet’s 3D model, emailed before printing. Reply with the proof version and your approval or requested changes. We do not print until you explicitly approve the latest version.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds of consolidated changes to the agreed design are included before approval. Corrections needed because we missed the agreed instructions do not use these rounds. A new style, pose, pet or substantial redesign is a scope change. We quote additional work first and start it only after your explicit agreement; there are no automatic extra charges.

How long does it take?

Proof preparation normally takes 5–7 business days after photo review. Production takes 15–20 business days after you approve the digital proof; customer-supplied 3D model orders typically take 8–12 business days after approval. Standard shipping takes another 10–18 business days after dispatch. Allow an extra 3–5 business days in November and December. Time waiting for your reply is separate.

Can I order a figurine of a pet that has passed?

Yes. Memorial Keepsake is available at all three sizes and includes a walnut wood base with a brass name plaque and an optional second line for dates or a short message. You can change the base and other finishing options in the configurator. You can also choose Cute Chibi or Semi-Realistic for remembrance. Wings and halos are not added automatically. Contact us before ordering if you have fewer than three suitable photos.
